Western Sichuan with Jiuzhai Valley and Huanglong National Park 10 Days Exploration

Arrive in Chengdu. Transfer to the hotel and take rest.

Today we are transfer to Ya’an to start early and first we will go to visit the Shangli Ancient Town, which  is located in Yucheng District of Ya'an City of Sichuan Province. In history the old town was the important entrance of the South Silk Road and it is believed by the local that the town is a cornucopia because of its location at the intersection angle of two rivers.  And then we are visit Ya'an Bifengxia Gorge and waterfall, and then we will visit the Panda Research and Breeding Center, which is one of the most important Panda base in China. Bifeng Gorge, a National 4A class tourist area. which is located in the north of Ya'an, 120 km from Chengdu.As the rain Blair's support, Bifengxia a general green jasper, so given the name "Bifengxia". The scenic area taking the shape of "V", consists of 2 canyons, the left isthmus is around 7km, and the right is around 6km. Its relative height of the gorge wall is about 100-200 meters. Vegetation, scenery, waterfall are distinct feathers of which. We will then continue to Ya’an for overnight. Overnight in Ya’an.

After breakfast, we will drive to Kangding. It’s a breath-taking beauty spot located in an area of various landforms between Sichuan Basin and Tibet Plateau, is well-known for mountain climbing, sightseeing, hot springs, relaxation and so on. Upon arrival, We will go to visit Mugecuo Nature Reserve, as one of the highest lake in west sichuan-3700 KM, trails of the lake also have “red sea”, “7 color lake” and so on, together with hot spring and well preserved forest and river, make Mugecuo a must see nature reserve in west Sichuan. Overnight in Kangding.

Today we drive to Danba, glorified as the most beautiful village and the natural geologic museum in China is located in the west of Sichuan, with unique scenery of high-peaked mountains, overlapping peaks, deep canyons and so on. We will see the beautiful Bamei Grassland. Then we continue driving to Tagong Monastery. Tagong Monastery has a history of more than one thousand years, is a one holy place for worship by the Tibetan. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the small Village where our hotel located. Overnight in Danba.

Today first we will visit Jiaju Tibetan Village, which is known as one of the six most beautiful ancient villages in China. It is a Tibetan village locked in time with its beautiful architecture and serene lifestyle. Its name, Jiaju, means ‘a hundred families’. Recently, there are still many Tibetan families are living in the traditional houses in the small village. It is always the highlight of a Danba tour, during which you will not only enjoy the marvelous nature beauty, but also experience the unique culture of the local Tibetans in Sichuan. After that, we will drive to Rilong, on the way there are many beautiful villages, we can stop and visit the villages and talk with the people to get to know their lives. Upon arrival, we will arrive on Changping Valley, Changping Valley is not only a beautiful natural landscape, but also a rare ancient battlefield. Changping Valley is attractive for its vast sky gently over the valley. We will hike in the valley and enjoy the scenery. Then after we finish the visit in the Changping valley. Overnight in Rilong.

Today we are drive to Wenchuan and visit Shuangqiao Valley. Shuangqiao Valley is the most easily accessible valley with vistas of snowy peaks, pastures, grassland and forests. It is the most beautiful valley of Four Maiden's Mountain. With three sections covering an area of 216.6 square kilometers (about 83.6 square miles), the whole valley is accessible by tour bus. It's the easiest and quickest way to see the valley because of the amount of distance and the ruggedness of the terrain. People visit this valley primarily for convenient nature sightseeing.

Today we are drive from Wenchuan from Huanglong.First we are visit Songpan Ancient Town,  which situated in Jin'an Town of Songpan County, is nearly 322 km (200 miles) from Chengdu (the capital city of Sichuan Province). Historically, it was known as Songzhou Town and was considered the 'West Portal of Sichuan'.Then we drive to the nearby Huanglong Nature Reserve. Huang Long literally means ‘The Yellow Dragon Valley’ and it is commonly known to the Chinese people as ‘The fairyland on Earth’ for its undeniably breathtaking landscapes. In addition, several ancient temples dot the landscape. All these features, together with the snowcapped peaks of the Minshan in the background, make up an area that is not often visited, but a beautiful day is in prospect for anyone willing to make the journey.

Jiuzhai Valley and its superb and breathtaking landscapes are extremely attractive on account of the karst scenery, the large number of lakes, and spectacular waterfalls. A great number of endangered plant and animal species, including the giant panda, inhabit this wonderland. The name Jiuzhai Valley derives from the nine Tibetan villages scattered throughout the valley. Its attraction lies in its simple, idyllic beauty; it is primitive and natural and still in a pristine state. With majestic and unrivalled emerald lakes, layered waterfalls, colorful forests, snow-peaked mountains, and Tibetan folk villages, all blending in harmony with each other, it is a jewel of nature set in spectacular mountain scenery. Jiuzhai Valley lies in a transitional area where northern and southern flora and fauna meet. A natural botanical and zoological garden, it is home to densely growing conifers and broadleaf trees, and to rare and endangered animal species such as the giant panda, golden snub-nosed monkey, and white-lip deer. Overnight in Jiuzhai Valley.

Today we are driving from Huanglong to Chengdu. See the sightseeing on the way.
