Holy Mountain Minya Konka Outer Loop Trek 7 Days Tour

Arrive in Chengdu. Please go to the reserved hotel on your own. The rest time is for you to get rest or hang around nearby.

Note:
1. We will have a brief meeting at around 7pm to check if you have prepared necessary trekking equipments.
2. Room fee is paid but you may need to pay the safe deposit, which will be refunded when you check out.

After breakfast, we will depart towards Kangding (2700m). Having lunch after reaching Kangding and you can take sometime to buy some goods (food, snacks, fruits, etc.). This is the last stop we can buy necessary food before the trek and then we will continue to drive to Laoyulin. The estimate arrival time to Laoyulin will be around 2:30pm.

After having breakfast, we will trek towards Riwuqie BC. En route, we will see grand highland natural landscape and reach Liangcha River around noon time. In the afternoon, we will have a far view of Mt. Tianhaizi (6070m), Minor Konka (5928m) and Mt. Jiazi (6549m). Reach the Riwuqie BC and have good rest in the afternoon.

Trek: 16km, 8-9hrs, 700m↑, 50m↓
Altitude: 4300m

Today we will have flexible time. After breakfast, we will trek towards Leduomanyin Snow Mountain. We can prepare the crampons and do some leisure trek on the glacier (if there is ice). Get close to the glacier and appreciate the turquoise/blue ice lake nearby. We will start to get back to the BC at 2pm.

Altitude: 4300m

Today will be relatively hard because we need to cross the Ridaman Pass (4980m). Following the pass all the way down and we will reach Rimanda Pasture, which marks the end of our camping. Take a local transit vehicle and go to the local guesthouse. Time permitting, you can take the local transit vehicle (optional) to the Zimei Pass to enjoy the sunset view of Mt. Konka.

1. Please prepare enough energy for the 4980 Pass.
2. Today's trekking distance is also quite long. and with huge altitude difference (3900m-4980m). If you don't feel well, please tell our leader.
3. If we come across big snow which makes impossible to cross the pass, we will change to Plan B.

NoteThe extra cost for this plan would be around 200 RMB~300 RMB per person.

We will trek to the Quanhuatan (4100m) and enjoy the wonderful view after breakfast. The short trek takes about 1hr and then return back. Take a local transit vehicle to the foot of Lenggatso Mountain. Then we will trek up to the Lenggatso Lake (4500m). After the photo taking, we will trek down to the mountain foot and then take the local transit vehicle back to the guesthouse.

Note: Quanhuatan is situated at the halfway up the mountain opposite to the Yulongxi Village. Roundway trekking disance is 3km and plus photo taking, we may need additional 1.5hrs.

Today we will get up early and go to the Zimei Pass (4650m) to watch the sunrise. The departure time may be around 4:30am-5:00am. This is the nearest view platform to Mt. Konka. Then we will drive to Lower Zimei Village. Today is the last trekking day of our trip and relatively easy. We will reach Bawanghai Parking Lot (3100m) and then drive back to Chengdu. The driving distance back to Chengdu is quite long and we may reach Chengdu at around 8:00pm under normal condition. But there might be occasional traffic control or traffic jam, it's possible we will actually arrive later. Please book next day transport leaving Chengdu.

1. During peak season or public holidays, we may need to wait longer time than usual at the Bawanghai Parking Lot.
