9 Days Classic Loop tour to across Gansu and Qinghai

Fly to Xining on your own, upon arrival, we will pick you up from Xining international airport and tranfer you to hotel

The rest day will be on your own. You have a local night evening food exploring tour on your own to taste the local food and enjoy the local culture.

You can also fly to Lanzhou and take bullet train to Xining, we can help with train ticket booking service upon request

Overnight at Xinning

After breakfast, we will across Qilian Grassland Prairie, a vast area, make you feel so fresh and entertaining. We will have a local specialty lunch with the local family and join in the ball party, just enjoy the fun time.

After a pleasant fun time, we will drive toward Zhangye Danxi Yardang landform, reach there near dawn time, the best time for photograph lover, we will leave you around 2 hours here to enjoy the beautiful sceneries there.

Then we will drive to our delicately chosen boutique hotel at Zhangye for overnight stay

If you want to have sunrise view at Zhangye Danxia landform, you need to purchase again the ticket, otherwise, we will directly to Ancient greatwall at Jiayuguan, this great wall was built in Ming Dynasty, much different from Great wall in Beijing, it was made in dirty, more primitive, but during the time then, it had a great use for protection of the boundary.

After the visit of great wall at Jiayuguan, Gansu, we will drive towards Echoing-sand mountain and crescent lake, one of the softest sand in the world, here you can have choice of renting a camel to ride or play sand-sliding at your own choice.

When evening fall, we will reach the camping site and start our amazing camping night. We will offer free hotpot for this night, let us just make the night beautiful

After beautiful sunrise view if weather permits, we will visit Mogao Grottes in early morning to avoid the crowds (Mogao grotttes entrance ticket has to be booked one month in advance, otherwise need to pay high commission fee to ensure the availability). Mogao Grottes is one of the world wonders and treasures. After this visit, we will drive towards Qaidam basin, on the way, we will make a short visit for the small oil town – a famous film shooting town. You can have a clear look at the scene and to feel like an actor or an actress.

Then we will drive to Lenghuzhen/Aksay for overnight stay.

After breakfast, we will drive to recently reputed Mars #1 road, it is a deserted national highway, driving on this road , you will across miles of Yardang landscapes without spotting a car or a human being which makes you feel like you are travelling on the planted of Mars. Due to this strange yet novel feeling, where will offer one free experience at the Mars Campsite where you can wear a space suit, just like an astronaut, it is a good and funny

experience with your friends and family. Fun-cospay time. Just opposite the Mars Campsite, it is the famous “EBOLIANG No man’s land area” the ghost city where you can view vast numbers of turtle back shaped Yardang landform, very extraordinary nature view.

Next stop would be Fecui lake, here will spend around 1hr to visit this beautiful lake. The colors of this lake will change according to sunlight just like most lakes in Tibet, in early after, it would be the most beautiful colors, the lake is also embraced the mountains, so it is quite a view with good weather. Then we will head toward Aiken Spring ,also called “ Eyes of devil” . It is a local heat spring and no plants or living creatures can habituates nearby because of the heat. The shape of spring looks very much like the shape of an “ eye”, very stunning and intriguing.

Over night at Mang’ai

After breakfast, we will begin our first visit for West Taiger lake, it features with 2 different colors and distinguished & separate by the two sides of the road G315, one side is jade blue while the other is jade green. Then we will drive to Water Yardang landform, here we will spend around 2.5 hours to have a deep explore for this great landscape view..

Finally, we will driving along the reputed “ U” shaped road, part of deserted national highway. This “ U” Shape road looks stunning on the vast Gobi desert.

Our last visit for today would be “East Tigerlake “ , also referred to be “ East Maldives”, its beaty can match with Jiuzhaigou valley in Sichuan.

After all visits for today, we will drive to Dachidan for overnight stay.

Today, we will start by a short visit to Feicui lake,the colors of this lake will change according to sunlight just like most lakes in Tibet, in early after, it would be the most beautiful colors, the lake is also embraced the mountains, so it is quite a view with good weather.

Then we will continue our driving along the G315 national highway and reach Chaka Salt Lake Sky No.1 site near dark time. We will spend around 3.5hrs to visit this site. It is referred to be the “Legendary Sky Mirror”. With the nick name, you can imagine the cleanness and clearness for this lake, with the reflection of the sunlight and the lake, you can hardly tell what world you are in, you might just accidently entered a fairytale world. Night view of full stars at this site would definitely take you breath away.

After breakfast, we will drive to Qinghai lake, then we provide bicycle, you can cycle along the road just beside Qinghai lake for nearly 2hrs. We have next exciting program for you: Horse riding. Amazing experience indeed.

After those wonderful memories, we will head back to Xining, where will stop at Riyue Mountain pass(3250m), finally reach our hotel in Xining for a good rest

Today will be at your own dispose til your departure.  After an memorable trip, finally we will say Farwell to you in the airport and wish you good & safe journey to your sweet home and we hope you join us again for next great adventure.
