7 Days Fascinating Cycling Trip in Inner Mongolia

Fly or take the train to Hohhot. Upon arrival, you shall be warmly welcome by our guide and driver and take you to our reserved hotel. The rest of time is on your own to explore this city. 

Tips:

1. If you bring your own mountain bike, please double check if all your equipment are ready and nothing missing

2. If you want to rent a bike, we will check the rented bikes to see all things are ready

3. You can also go to shops to prepare some packed lunches for the next cycling days, it is also possible to purchase food along the way

After final check of your cycling equipment and bike, we will ready to start our wonderful journey and cycle toward Xilamuren grassland, we will cycle across Daqing Mountain and have the wonderful view of Daqing Mountain and vast prairie. When arrival Xilamuren grassland, we will pay a visit to a traditional Inner Mongolia family, dress their traditional costume, learn some simple and local Mongolia language, we will also experience Mongolia archery and traditional games. At dinner time, we will learn how to may traditional inner Mongolia tea, traditional lamb dishes and snacks and enjoy the barbeque as well.  After a wonderful dinner, we will be ready set our tent to camp and enjoy the great sunset view if weather permits

If weather permits, we will have amazing sunrise view, we will double check again our equipment and mountain bike then we will cycle across Xilamuren grassland to visit Bailing temple which was built in year1702, it was a Tibetan style temple. After the visit of Bailing Temple, we will continue our cycling to Shihua grassland. Tonight, we will sleep in a traditional Mongolia yurt.

After breakfast, we will cycle across Honghuanaobao grassland and enjoy the great nomad land view. After a wonderful cycling journey, we will reach our campsite for today- Qing Great wall relics- Guyang Qing Great wall section. We will do a light trek on the Great wall and set our tent on the great wall. Our guide team will prepare a nice dinner while we enjoy the great sunset view over the wall

Enjoy the morning sunrise view if weather permits, we will cycle towards Baotou, on the way, we will cycle across another section of Daqing Mountain and enjoy the wonderful view along the way. When we arrive Baotou, we will visit Baotou museum and enjoy the precious items listed in the museum.  We will have a big lamb hotpot for dinner. Tonight, we will check into a hotel where you can take a nice shower.

After a nice breakfast, we will cycle towards Kubuchi desert, on the way, we shall pass Yellow river bridge and enjoy the amazing view of Yellow River (Huanghe river). After, we reach Kubuchi desert, we will take land cruiser safari over the desert and enjoy the view and the excitement. We will also take light trek in the desert and enjoy the 7the largest desert in China. If you like, you can also ride a camel in the desert. We will camp in the desert and enjoy the starry night view over the desert

Drive back to Hohhot after breakfast and see you off in the train station/airport and end the service. Wish you a nice pleasant journey back home. Please book a flight leave after noon time.
