Guizhou 6 Days off the Beaten Path in Depth

Fly or take the train to Guiyang with your own arrangement. Upon arrival, we will pick you up and transfer to reserved hotel. Guiyang is a nice and friendly city, you can enjoy your free time for the rest of the day, walk around downtown have some local street food.

Highlight for today- Getu river. Getu River is such an incredible place where the subterranean river gushes to the ground surface. It has been going through the mountains instead of passing around, and finally, numerous tunnels were formed after billions of years.

Dahe Miao Village just live besides Getu River. Here the Miao people live in seclusion inside these mountains and therefore have been practicing their traditional folk customs for thousands of years.

We'll hike the mountain trail up to the Prayer Cave, beat the drums and pray to the gods, then keep walking to the top of the cave and enjoy the view inside. Upon getting down the hill, there will be a show of Miao spiderman — free climbing.

Afternoon time, we will take a visit to Tiantungubao, it is old Chinese Han village which still preserved the customs and lifestyle 600 years ago. The villagers moved here from Nanjing back to Ming Dynasty.  At the end of day we'll arrive in Anshun and stay overnight.

When talking about where to visit in Guizhou, perhap the first place come into your mind would be Huangguoshu Waterfall. Huangguoshu is a must-see tourist destination in Guizhou. The entire scenic area consists of three major attractions: Big Waterfall, Doupotang Waterfall and Tianxing Bridge. It is the place no one can miss if traveling to Guizhou, and we promise that you will never regret it!

After that, we will head toward to Xingyi, on the way, we will stop to visit Balinghe river bridge which links two mountains of 2230m and largely shorted the driving distance, it is another one of the greatest project in the world in China.  Then we will reach Xingyi for overnight stay

Highlights for today are  Maling river and Wanfenglin (Ten-Thousand Peak Forest). In the morning,  we'll be visiting "A Scar on the Earth" - the spectacular Maling River Valley . Be prepared to get wet, amazed, thrilled by its great nature view.

In the afternoon, we will visit Wanfenglin (Ten-Thousand Peak Forest), which is regarded as a coniform Karst museum due to its massive distribution of the most typical Karst landform in Southwest China.   400+ years ago when the renowned traveler Xu Xiake paid a visit to this place, he made such admiration for the spectacle he was seeing: "Among the numerous mountains in the world only here can be called a mountain peak forest.

If weather permits, it’s recommended for you to get up early to see the gorgeous view of Sunrise. After breakfast we'll get to the top of Yuhuang Peak (玉皇顶), watching the peaks expanding for miles, with rivers and clouds dotted in-between. Please kindly note that the sceneries actually keeps changing during a day due to the angle of sunlight.

After breakfast, we will drive to Qingyan ancient town to have a visit for this ancient town to appreciate its unique architecture styles and beautiful design. It’s a town of leisure and beauty, and then we will drop you off to the Guiyang train station or airport for departure
