4 Days Holy Mt. Konka Inner Loop Trekking Tour

Meet the group at Tianhe Road Metro Station at around 6:00am-06:30am. The exact info will be updated 1 day in advance just in case any change at short notice. Then we will depart towards Laoyulin Village via Xinduqiao. We will have a brief stop at Xinduqiao for about 1hr and then continue to drive to Yulongxi Village. The estimated arrival time should be around 6pm.

Note:
1. Today we will depart quite early with long driving distance and altitude change. Please kindly take good care of yourself and do not catch cold.
2. If we arrive early, you can go to Zimei Pass to enjoy the view. The extra cost is on your own.
3. Before the departure, we will update your packing list in advance so please kindly confirm you have everything needed.

After having breakfast, we will trek 1hr to Quanhuatan. After photo shooting, we will return back and then take a local transit vehicle to the food of Lenggatso. Trek all the way up to Lenggasto, where you will have the best view of Mt. Konka by the lake. Later we will trek back and then take the vehicle back to Yulongxi Village.

Note: Quanhuatan is situated at the halfway up the mountain opposite to the Yulongxi Village. Roundway trekking disance is 3km and plus photo taking, we may need about 1.5hrs.

 

Today will be the most difficult day of the trekking trip because we need to cross the Ridaman Pass (4980m). We will trek all the way up to the Ridaman Pass. After we cross the pass, we will have far view of Ledduomanyin Ice Lake, Riwuqie Mountain, Jiazi Mountain and small Konka Mountain. The temperature at the Ridaman Pass is quite low so after the photo-taking, we need to descend down to the Riwuqie BC.

Trek: 14km, 8hrs, 700m↑ 700m↓
Altitude: 4300m

 

Today get up early to appreciate the sunrise of Jiazi Mountain and Riwuqie Mountain. After breakfast we will say goodbye to Riwuqie BC and then trek to Liangcha River. Trek all the way southwards. We will have good view of Tianhaizi Snow Mountain (6070m), Small Konka Mountain (6027m) and Jiazi Mountain (6549m). After 16km trekking, we will reach Laoyulin at around 3pm-4pm. Even though today's trekking is mainly going down, the distance makes today a little bit exhausted. If you want to, you can consider to ride horse (extra fee needed). Get back to Kangding and then we will drive back to Chengdu. The drop-off location is same as pick-up location or nearby site. The estimate arrival time is around 10pm.
