Simple Tips for Your Flight Travel

Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, flying can be stressful. To make our flight journey more comfortable and easier, we can try the tips below.


Pack Lightly

Most airline company offer 1 check-in luggage and 1 carry-on luggage. For international flight, they may allow 2 check-in luggage depending on the route and company. Don't occupy with yourself with too many bags which will exhaust you. For the flight in China, the regulation is normally:

Check-in luggage: smaller than 55*40*20 cm, lighter than 20kg

Carry-on luggage: smaller than 30*20*40 cm, lighter than 7kg

  


Online Check-in

Most flights open online check-in services. It would be better to do this in advance to save the trouble. Instead of rushing to the airport, you can plan your time and go to the airport at an appropriate time.


Choose Seats Wisely

If you have airsickness, try to choose the seat on the wing side. If you want to have some flexibility (go to the bathroom, stand or walk for a while, etc.), please choose the seat on the isle side. Luckily you can also choose your seat online in advance, or you can ask for it at the counter directly at airport.

  


Sleep Comfortably

When flying, there may be some situations you cannot sleep well, crying baby, working businessman, reflections of sunshine outside, etc. Don't forget to bring earplugs, eye patches, pillows and blankets or shawls for a comfortable flight.

  


Bring Entertainment Devices 

If you cannot sleep during the flight and want to kill time, make sure you have your iPad, computer, book with you. Some flights do offer movies and all of them will provide some books or newspapers.

  


No Caffeine

If you're taking red-eye flight or across time zones, ignore the caffeine is one of the best ways to adapt jet lag. Ample sleep will keep you energetic after you land and prepare you the best condition to travel.

  


Order Vegetarian Meal

Useful tip: whether you are vegetarian or not, if you order a vegetarian meal, you will get your food first.

  


Drink More Water

When taking a flight, drink more water is essential as airplane is usually a dry environment, so it’s easy to dehydrate.
