Fruits in Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie’s fruits are numerous, Juhuaxin grapefruit being the most representative one of all the local specialties. Although there are Guangxi Shatian pomelos, Fujian Pingshan and Wendan pomelos, and Thailand's "Siamese pomelos", Zhangjiajie Juhuaxin pomelos are still the most unique one among all. In addition, Juhuaxin and Jinxiang grapefruit is often known as 'Chinese Famous Grapefruit'. They are both worth tasting.

Juhuaxin Grapefruit

Juhuaxin grapefruit is a special fruit in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, which has a long history. Zhangjiajie enjoys an excellent geographical environment with sufficient light, abundant water resources and fertile soil, which is very suitable for the growth of pomelo. 

Jinxiang Grapefruit

Jinxiang grapefruit, one of the five famous pomelos in China, is a wild pomelo growing in the mountains of western Hunan. The peel is orange yellow, thin and easy to peel, with unique aroma.

Kiwi Fruit

When coming to Zhangjiajie, be sure to taste the Kiwi fruit because it is the best fruit in Zhangjiajie. Sangzhi County is the hometown of the Kiwi fruit. 

Chinese Sweet Orange

Zhangjiajie sweet orange is abundant in both sides of Suoxi River and Jiuxi River in Wulingyuan. This area has a very superior geographical environment with sufficient light, abundant water resources and fertile soil. The sweet orange is juicy and rich in vitamin C.
