Xi’an Weather in August

August is still very hot and sweltering in Xi'an. There is a short rainy season as well. With the heavy rains, temperature may be cooler a little bit and it is last travel peak in summer.

Recommended Dressing

It is recommended to wear T-shirt, short skirts, shorts, cool and breathable clothes made of light cotton fabric, and at rainy days you may also need a thin coat. Comfortable shoes are necessary when you are traveling. Don’t forget bring hat, sunglasses, umbrella, etc.
