It's quite cold in the morning and evening but very warm in day time when the sun comes out. It is relative dry in Winter time. When it snows, it is very beautiful with the snow world.
Although Mt.Siguniang ( Four sisters Mountains) is only 4 hours driving from Chengdu, but it is totally a difference world. Chengdu in Winter time is very humid and cold, always cloudy but at Mt.Sigunaing, most of the time it's Sunny and very dry. Seldom rains or snows.

What to visit in Feburary for Mountain Siguniang (Four Sisters Mountain)
Feburary is among the best season for Mountain Climb for Dafeng ( the oldest peak) 5025m and Erfeng ( the 2nd girl's peak)- 5276. As the peaks shall be covered in snow but is dry with no rainfalls on the way. The peak view of snow, cloud sea and sunrise view is just goregous.
It is also suitable to do sightseeing for Changping Valley with trek and Shuang qiao valley. The weather is clear and dry so it's very easy and common to see clearly the 4 peaks view of Mt.Siguniang from a distance.
Mt.Sigunaing is with typcial Tibetan culture. If you are a fan of Tibetan culture and food, you would find the trip to Mt.Siguniang quite pleastant. When travelling to Mt.Siguniang, it is important to avoid sunburnt as the sunlight is very strong. Without proper measure, you are prone to sunburnt.

It's only about 4 hours driving from Chengdu, on the way you will pass Balang Pass, where you see a wild range of snow mountains and Yak gazing the grass on the mountains. Hanging prayer flags and make good wishes for your families would be a nice memory on the way.
All of the three valleys are suitable to visiting: Changping Valley, Shuangqial Valley and Haizi Valley . Haizi Valley is the entrance for Mountain climb for Dafeng and Erfeng which are suitable to take in Feburary. Or you can do ice climbing at Shuangqiao valley.
