Weather in Lhasa

April to October is the best time to travel to Lhasa and the peak season is from May to September. During that period, the climate in Lhasa is warm and humid, not so dry and windy in winter and spring. Dressing:

Spring (March - April)

Generally speaking, a T-shirt, overcoat and jeans are indispensable. Sunhats, sunglasses and suntan lotion are necessities.

Summer (May - August)

Recommend to bring T-shirt, trousers and coats. To avoid being burnt by the strong ultraviolet lights in this high-altitude area, it is suggested to take sunscreens and sunglasses.

Autumn (September - October)

It is recommended to wear a light top with long sleeves and a hat for protection from strong UV radiation. Warm clothes are a must.

Winter (November - February)
